This antique sumo referee's fan, estimated to have been made between the 1900s and 1940s, features a deep dark brown background adorned with a magnificent golden "dragon and tiger" motif. The reverse side is inscribed with the Zen calligraphy "Banko Seifu," representing eternal spiritual clarity and peace. Measuring 37cm in length, it retains its original brass fittings and tassel, showing a beautiful aged patina that confirms its historical value.
