Performance

• AM broadcast band receives strong local stations clearly
• Shortwave reception tested using ~20 ft wire antenna
  • Signals received on 80m (~3.5 MHz) and 40m (~7 MHz) bands
• Good sensitivity and stable audio
• Typical shortwave background noise present as expected

Controls & Features

• 6-band coverage: 0.54 – 30 MHz (per dial markings)
• Main tuning + bandspread for fine adjustment
• Sensitivity (RF gain) and antenna tuning controls
• Mode switch:
  • PHONE = AM with AVC (radiotelephone reception)
  • CW/SSB = BFO enabled for Morse and SSB signals
• ANL (Automatic Noise Limiter) and crystal calibrator
• Receive/Standby switch (for use with transmitter setups - hit standby when transmitting)
• Headphone jack and internal speaker

Notes

• BFO function confirmed (mode behavior changes as expected)
• SSB/CW reception requires careful tuning, as typical for this type of receiver
• Dial calibration may vary slightly due to age

Condition

• Cosmetic condition consistent with age (see photos)
• All major controls respond and were exercised during testing
