This is a rare and collectible ASTER Hobby 1 Gauge (45mm) narrow gauge freight car, model No. 51, designed for light railway operation. Originally produced in Japan, this high-quality metal wagon is an excellent companion to Aster’s early narrow-gauge locomotives such as “Old Faithful” and the Baldwin logging engines.

• Gauge: 1 Gauge / 45 mm (suitable for Narrow Gauge layout)

• Scale: Approximately 1:22.5–1:24 (commonly used with logging and industrial locomotives)

• Material: All-metal construction

• Couplers: Hook-type (compatible with other Aster wagons)

• Markings: “NO. 51” on both sides

• Condition: Excellent, appears unused, includes original Aster blue box with fitted foam

• Made in Japan by Aster Hobby Co., Inc.

These wagons were produced in limited quantities and are now rarely found on the secondary market, especially in this condition. Ideal for collectors, live steam operators, or display.
