I don't know who made this vintage alto saxophone or it's history. Here is what is on the saxophone. This instrument was sold by Lammers Music House out of Cincinnati, OH. The mouth piece reed bracket says "France". The neck has "01" on it and the back, towards the bottom, looks like it has "12599" on it. There is a unique feature on the base of the bow. It has a Buescher-like detail that I haven't seen on other similar saxophones. However, there is no makers mark for me to know who exactly made this instrument. The mystery is yours to solve!
Condition: All valves seem work. Heavily worn finish. There are many scratches, dents, and scrapes. There is also oxidation of the instrument. The plastic mouth piece is scratched as well. Case has worn lining and a worn exterior. No key for the case.
SOLD AS PICTURED. Please look at all photos for details. They are part of the description.
