Very nice piece of Oceanic art. Purchased from a private collection. This hand carved hardwood statue stands 8.25" tall and weighs approx. 1 Lb. The original owner purchased it  in a large lot of "Oceanic tribal art."  at auction in the 1970's in San Fransico. It originally had a small paper label  attached that read "Timor" ancestor 61".  It  is a very cool and awesome addition to any collection of primitive and tribal art.
