Up for sale is a remarkable "time capsule" lot of 11 authentic antique leather postcards, dating primarily to 1906. These were a massive craze during the "Undivided Back" era of postal history but were famously banned by the U.S. Post Office in 1909 because the leather jammed their new mechanical sorting machines.
