This is the 58th issue (1984) of the venerated adzine from Redbeard Inc. and eventually Fantagraphics Books. This issue has a cover by Jeff Butler of Badger, with an inset of Nexus, but the real draw this issue was a column by Kim Thompson interviewing ALAN MOORE. This is when he was working predominantly on Saga of the Swamp Thing, but he refers to a new series he’s working on with Dave Gibbons, WATCHMEN! He mentions V for Vendetta and Vigilante, but doubles these up to W to tell the story about Dick Giordano not wanting to use the Charlton heroes, so Moore is reworking the story to be about “new” characters. There is also a Steve Bissette drawing of Moore depicting him in his mad creator “Rasputin” version that was probably done just for this issue, but I’m sure I’ve seen it elsewhere since. There are also the articles on Nexus and Badger at First Comics, reprints of ARCHIE GOODWIN and AL WILLIAMSON Star Wars strips (21 of them) and an article by Nancy Collins.

CONDITION DESCRIPTION: FN. Looks very nice at a glance, but there's some light creasing nad a little spine roll.  (Grading is based on a careful examination of the flaws.)
