Gibson Southern Jumbo Vintage Sunburst 2010 w/hard case USED
Description
Good Condition! w/hard case
A 2010 Southern Jumbo with Grover tuners and a pickup, a modern style model, has arrived!
Despite its round-shoulder style, it features a crown inlay on the headstock, neck binding, and a double parallelogram on the fretboard, positioning it as a higher-end model than the J-45 and making it a popular choice. It has a spruce top, mahogany sides and back, and a rosewood fretboard. This particular model doesn't have a specific model year or specification; it's a modern style model with Grover tuners and a pickup with only volume control.
There are polishing marks on the pickguard. A semi-circular mark remains on the treble side of the soundhole, possibly from a tuner, and the paint is peeling. There is a rice-grain-sized dent on the right waist of the body top, and numerous small dents and scratches scattered mainly on the lower part of the body top. There is also a rice-grain-sized dent on the lower left side of the body. Additionally, there are numerous small dents and scratches scattered throughout the body sides. There are several rice-grain-sized dents on the upper and lower right parts of the body back, and a long, though not deep, scratch in the center. There are scratches on the back of the neck, behind the nut, possibly from an accessory or stand. There are paint gaps on the headstock inlay and the outer edge of the headstock veneer due to age. There is a rice-grain-sized patch of clear coat peeling on the binding at the 13th fret on the 6th string side. The saddle has been replaced with a TUSQ saddle, although it is not colored. The tuning pegs are tarnished but function correctly.
The neck condition is good, and the truss rod can be adjusted both tightening and loosening. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and approximately 60-70% remain. The current string height is approximately 2.5mm on the 6th string side and 2.0mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret, and there is ample saddle height with plenty of adjustment range.
Overall, it shows signs of use, but is in a condition commensurate with its age. The truss rod and saddle height are fine, so it's still perfectly usable!
