A fantastic little illustration, maybe published, maybe not? If I had to guess, maybe for The Stranger or something. It’s a very nice ink drawing with a layer of tone to create the grey dotted texture. This is the style he was working in for all his black and white published work at this time. Chunky, confident lines, and tone for texture and shading. This is the style of the Obama book from this era. The characters in the illo could be the maturing versions of the Yikes! kids, but I don't think there's any intended overlap.

The paper is 6.5” by 8.25” and the image is 4.5” by 6.5”. It is signed “Ribs” and dated 2011, but I don’t know if that’s when it was drawn, or just when it was signed.

CONDITION NOTES: 

Excellent condition. The tone is ever so slightly lifted from the art in some spots, but the edges of the illustration are tight and clean. The paper itself is fantastic.
