Presented for sale is this Stunning Rare Antique Edwardian Solid Sterling Silver Novelty Seated Pig, Hallmarked for Birmingham 1906 by John George Piddington.
This stunning rare antique Edwardian novelty collectable item is in the form of a solid sterling silver seated pig, it is superbly made with exquisite fine detailing looking very life like. It is hallmarked on the bottom edge with the Makers mark JGP and on the front right leg with the London assay office import mark, .925 denoting solid sterling silver and the Date letter L for 1906, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description.
Measuring 35mm high x 45mm long x 20mm" wide approx. it is in excellent used condition with no dents, dings, splits or repairs, just usual light wear consistent with age and weighs 28.1grams by my electronic scales.
