This Classics Illustrated spin-off series featured huge volumes—this one is 84 pages!—about historical events. It features a decidedly Western and Christian view of history, but is interesting nonetheless. This issue comes dangerously close, but manages to avoid falling into caricature when depicting native people in South America and Africa. This issue features artists like Reed Crandall w/Al Williamson, John Tartaglione, Sam Glanzman, Gray Morrow, and a classic style cover by Gerald McCann. Gilberton, 1960

CONDITION NOTES: VG. Nice reader copy. Some minor creases and edge damage, including small tears on the spine and a tiny piece out of the bottom corner on the back. A couple interior pages have small pieces missing and the paper is going from yellow to brown but is not yet brittle. (Grading is based on a careful examination of the flaws.)
