This is a GLORIOUS VINTAGE ceramic porcelain serving cake platter from Rosenthal in Germany.  The platter is in the Madeleine style that was made during the late 1940s and 1950s.  This platter is hand painted in a BEAUTIFUL light seafoam green that fades and lightens towards the center of the platter.  The platter is monogrammed in the center with a 24 karat gold "F" in a very Victorian font.  The 24 karat gold continues on the trim around the rim and the handles, which resemble fern fronds.  The rim is scalloped and embossed with a line around it.  This platter is 9.5 inches in diameter.  It's about 1.5 inches tall.  The 1950s Rosenthal logo is printed on the underside.  This platter is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION!  There are no chips, cracks, scratches, discoloration, repairs or stains.  It's AMAZING!
