Features:
1) The VCM function causes oil burning and spark plug oil fouling while automatically deactivating the cylinder to reduce emissions. This unique oil consumption leads to premature failure of components such as spark plugs, catalytic converters, engine mounts, pistons/piston rings and cylinder walls.
2) The harness kit consists of male and female connectors with additional resistance between them. A pure plug and play solution, no switches required. The thermometer still works and shows the engine temperature, the only difference is that it reads about half a point less at operating temperature
3) 4 different resistances - 68 Ohm, 82 Ohm, 100 Ohm, 120 Ohm. The different resistors are used to account for differences between vehicle cooling system components, such as thermostats, sensors, cooling system fluids and conditions, and radiator conditions, as these differences may result in slightly different operating temperatures. Climate can also affect the choice of resistor
4) The VCM can be easily disconnected and restored to the OEM configuration if an EPA inspection is required, when working at the dealership, or on long trips when the weather
is nice and the VCM would be beneficial at high speeds and summer temperatures
