AGE: 1951

CASE: STAINLESS STEEL CASE IS OVERSIZED 8.25 MM IN DIAMETER 44.60 MM LONG WITH LUGS.

DIAL:  SILVER COLOR DIAL WITH RAISED MARKERS, PLEASE SEE PICTURES FOR CONDITION.

MOVEMENT: TOP QUALITY HIGH GRADE MANUAL WIND MOVEMENT  IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION, KEEPS EXCELLENT TIME.

BAND: BRAND NEW SLIGHTLY USED BLAXK LEATHER BAND 20MM.

OVERALL CONDITION: VERY GOOD WITH EVIDENCE OF NORMAL WEAR,  SOME SUPERFICIAL SCRATCHES

The history:  Doxa S.A. is a Swiss Watch company, founded in 1889. Doxa is best known for its diving watches "SHARK HUNTER"  Line. In 1940, Doxa introduced a 7-digit serial number system, with the first two digits corresponding to the year of manufacture.  40XXXXX corresponds to 1940, and so on.
The serial is always stamped on the outer side of the case back.
Movements had a Doxa stamp on them, but no serial.
