Here's a great example of the ammonite Hoploscaphites comprimus from the Fox Hills Formation. This piece has excellent rainbow iridescence of the original shell material. It is in a pretty dense nodule and has a light coating over it to protect it. The ammonite is approximately 2 3/4 inches wide.
