This is an accumulation of Shimano Positron FF System components that have been gathered over the years.

Most are from Schwinn Varsities.

Shimano Positron was introduced in the late 1970s and was one of Shimano's first attempts at indexed shifting.

This system featured a unique system where indexing occurs in the derailleur, not the shifter.

I uses a rigid, push-pull wire instead of a standard cable.
