M-TAS LOWER BACK PROTECTION WITH BALLISTIC PACKAGE CLASS 2 (BRONYX) is an important element of the modern soldier's equipment, designed for plate carriers and body armor, the lower part of which is closed with a Velcro flap.

This model is designed to protect the lower back from fragments and ricochets during combat missions. It is attached using a special Velcro flap that is installed on the back of the plate carrier.

The lumbar protection is made of Cordura 500D - a super-strong material that is resistant to abrasion and high loads. It is completed with a ballistic package of the 2nd class from the Ukrainian manufacturer of professional body armor BRONYX.

The soft ballistic package is made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and complies with STANAG 2920 with an anti-fragmentation resistance index V-50 of about 700+ m/s.

To understand the analogy with bulletproof resistance, an armor package with a similar composition corresponds to class 2 according to DSTU 8782:2018. This soft ballistic protection has a depth of non-obstructive deformation of 7.62 x 25 mm - 22 mm, a caliber of protection against damage of 7.62 x 25 mm (Tokarev) and withstands a bullet speed of 430 m/s.
