Here is a rare, enormous Asaphiscus gregarius trilobite from the Cambrian Conasauga Formation in Coosa, Georgia. These concretions are unusual because the trilobites are on the outside rather than the inside. This trilobite is 2-1/8 inches across in a large 5-3/4 x 3-1/4 inch concretion. Trilobites from these concretions are quite rare already but what is unique about this piece is that it is not heavily weathered and water worn.

This comes from the Bruce Stinchcomb collection and is quite a rarity. Note there are some prep marks on the right side of the body of the trilobite.

Don't miss out on this excellent specimen.
