This is a representative semi-acoustic model from Yamaha.
The body features a beautiful flame maple top, a violin burst finish, and gold hardware, creating an elegant package.
The neck is made of mahogany with an ebony fingerboard.
Equipped with Yamaha's original humbucker pickups, and perhaps due to the spruce center block, it doesn't feel particularly harsh, resulting in a mellow sound.
It has a deep yet pleasantly flat sound character, making it suitable not only for jazz but also for genres that use drive sounds, such as blues, rock, and fusion.
As expected from Yamaha, it's a superb instrument with an exceptionally well-balanced finish.
There are some dents, scratches, and tarnishing on the parts.
There are numerous dents on the neck grip around the 12th fret.
The frets were leveled using our PLEK system, and the string height was set at 1.63mm for the 6th string and 1.37mm for the 1st string at the 12th fret.
The frets have approximately 70-80% remaining. The nut was low, so it was replaced with a bone nut by our shop.
The truss rod has plenty of adjustment range in both directions.

Shipping is available from Monday to Friday. Weekends are not available because freight (shipping) companies are closed.
