Hi. This is a stunning solid silver art nouveau hand mirror by William Neale. It was assayed at Chester in 1904 and feels like a heavy gauge silver. It weighs 310g. It is overall in very good condition but does have some issues so please see all of the photographs. They are as follows:
The area of the left lily pad has been bumped at some stage which has resulted in the shattering of the filler behind. This means that when the mirror is shaken the bits will rattle together. The bump did not crease the silver.
There are several small dents in places which do not really detract as much as the photographs suggest.
The mirror has a central 2" area of slight degrading and a little around the edges.
It measures 11 5/8" in height x 4 3/4" in width.
Please take the time to view the other items in my shop as there are often similar ones to this in stock.
I will combine multiple purchases for cheaper shipment.
Items that I put up for auction will never have a reserve on them.
Please message me if you need any further information.
