Without the services of Pat White, freshman quarterback Jarrett Brown blasted onto the scene with 244 passing yards, completing 14 of 29 passes. All the while, Brown rushed for 73 yards, with a long of 40, on 17 carries and Steve Slaton led the way with 112 yards, with a long of 44.
In the final OT period, Vaughn Rivers knocked down a pass intended for future NFL player Ray Rice to secure the win.
