Description:
A one part moisture curing polyurethane adhesive/sealant for the construction and transport industries. PU18 produces tough, elastic seals and joints with excellent adhesion characteristics and resistance to most chemicals. PU18 is also oil resistant making it ideal for the engineering industry. Conforms to BS EN 15651

1,4:2012.

Uses:
Bond It PU18 can be used for sealing and bonding in engineering, construction, automotive and marine applications.

It is ideal for use on: concrete; wood; metals; GRP; glass; rubbers; and most common building materials.

Preparation:
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease, oil or any other contaminants that may hinder adhesion.

Application:
Puncture seal at the base of the nozzle screw. Apply using

a standard sealant gun.
When bonding bring two components together before the product skins.

When using as a sealant tool with detergent solution within 10 minutes.

PU18 is over paintable with water based paints, however, tests should be carried out with solvent based paints to determine suitability.

Limitations:
Do not use for aquarium construction. Do not use with bitumen or asphalt. Not suitable for joints with movement greater than 15%.
Discoloration of Black, Grey & White and Black, Grey & White shades may occur when exposed to UV.

Container Size 310ml metal cartridge.

Shelf Life:
12 months from date of manufacture when stored in original
unopened cartridges.

Storage Conditions:
Store in cool, dry conditions at a temperature between 5 and
25oC.

Disposal of Containers:
Do not leave empty containers where residue could be harmful to
children, animals or the environment. Remove any containers to a
central disposal point in accordance with local regulations.

Health & Safety:
Contains isocyanates.

handling, use and storage instructions. Keep out of reach of
children. It is the users responsibility to determine suitability for
use. If in doubt contact our Technical Department for advice.
