ITEM:  A.LECOULTRE MEN'S WATCH WITH ORIGINAL MILITARY DIAL


AGE: 1915

CASE:  STERLING SILVER CASE 33MM ACROSS WITHOUT CROWN  38MM LUG TO LUG, STAMPED AND NUMBERED, ORIGINAL CROWN. 

DIAL: ORIGINAL DIAL IN VINTAGE CONDITION WITH OLD  LUMINOUS STILL IN TACT

MOVEMENT: HIGH GRADE MANUAL WIND ADJUSTED MOVEMENT, SIGNED A.LECOULTRE  IN WORKING CONDITION, WAS SERVICED IN 3/2026.

BAND: BRAND NEW GENERIC NATO TYPE ONE PIECE BAND 20MM  

OVERALL CONDITION: VERY GOOD OVERALL WITH  EVIDENCE OF WEAR AND AGE, NO DAMAGE.


Founded in 1833 by Antoine LeCoultre in the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland, LeCoultre became a premier watch Manufacture, known for inventing the MILLIONOMETER (1844). Following a partnership with Edmond Jaeger, the brand became Jaeger-LeCoultre, famed for the Reverso (1931), Atmos clock, and ultra-thin movements. Jaeger-LeCoultre historically supplied movements to prestigious luxury brands: Patek Philippe , Audemars Piguet, and Vacheron Constantin. Other brands that have utilized JLC movements include IWC, Chopard, and several early 20th-century manufacturers, cementing JLC's reputation as a "the watchmaker's watchmaker".
