Installing garage door springs requires experience and skills, We do not recommend inexperienced people to install it, because torsion springs can be dangerous if they are improperly installed or mishandled. When you wind the torsion springs on torsion shaft, we recommended that 7' high door 28 1/4 turns, 7'6" high door 30 1/4 turns, 8' high door = 32 1/4 turns, Then adjust it appropriately to make it perfectly compatible with your garage door.

Tools required for installation:

• Vice grips * 1;
• 3/8” Wrenches * 1;
• 9/16” Wrenches * 2;
• Tape measure * 1;
• Pair of winding bar(included);
• Gloves(included);
• Step ladder.

Installation safety guidelines:

• Before installation, disconnect opener first.
• Do not over tighten the set screws on cones and dumps, this could damage the cones and torsion shaft.
• DO NOT hang tools or materials from horizontaltracks.
• Keep hands clean during installation.
• ALWAYS wear work gloves duringinstallation.
