Termidor® SC Residual Termiticide and Insecticide provides superior levels of control across subterranean termites, ants, cockroaches, spiders and flies. Developed with BASF's advanced non-repellent technology, Termidor delivers significant advantages over traditional insecticides. Termites and other pests cannot detect the treatment, allowing them to continue normal activity and unknowingly come into contact with the active ingredient. Termidor's unique Transfer Effect™ enables the active ingredient to spread throughout the pest population, ensuring continued interaction without behavioural disruption. This results in unmatched efficacy, long-term residual control and reduced call backs.

Termidor is applied as a continuous chemical soil zone around and under structures to create a treated barrier. Unlike repellent termiticides that rely on keeping termites away, Termidor is non-repellent, meaning termites cannot detect it. As a result, termites continue to forage naturally through treated soil until they encounter the active ingredient and pick up a lethal dose. Once exposed, termites transfer the active ingredient to other members of the colony through normal behaviours such as grooming and contact.
This Transfer Effect™ allows the insecticide to spread beyond the initial point of contact, reaching individuals that have not directly encountered the treated zone. This process enables control of the entire colony, including hidden and inaccessible areas.
For general pest control, Termidor works through both contact and residual activity on treated surfaces. When pests such as ants, cockroaches, spiders or flies come into contact with treated areas, they pick up the active ingredient and transfer it to others within the population. Because pests are not repelled or disturbed, they continue to interact with treated surfaces, resulting in more effective population control compared to conventional insecticides.
Termidor should be mixed with water and applied as a spray or soil treatment depending on the target pest and application area. For termite protection, it is applied as a continuous treated zone around and under structures using trenching, spraying or injection methods in accordance with Australian standards. For general pest control, apply to external surfaces, entry points and areas where pests are active, including walls, foundations, cracks and crevices.
Termidor provides long-lasting residual control, with up to 3 months protection against certain pests. Its non-repellent formulation ensures ongoing interaction with pest populations, reducing the need for frequent reapplications and improving long-term control outcomes.
Termidor is considered the gold standard in pest control due to its non-repellent technology and proven Transfer Effect™. It delivers superior colony-level control, long-term protection and consistent results across a wide range of pests, making it a trusted solution for professional pest management programs.
What makes Termidor different from other termiticides? It is non-repellent, meaning termites cannot detect it and continue to interact with treated areas.
How does the Transfer Effect™ work? Exposed pests spread the active ingredient to others through contact and behaviour, ensuring full population control.
Where can it be used? Around and under structures, as well as on external surfaces for general pest control.
How long does it last? It provides residual protection for up to 3 months against certain pests.
