桃花千歳春
Peach blossoms bloom innocently, announcing the arrival of spring, unchanged for a thousand years.

In China, peaches are always depicted on items used to celebrate longevity and good fortune.
Perhaps this is because peaches are a symbol of longevity and also have the meaning of warding off evil.
This refers to the time when peach buds begin to open and flowers start to bloom. The word "laugh" also has the meaning of "flower buds opening."

Peaches have long been considered a sacred plant that wards off evil spirits. The Kojiki (Records of Ancient Matters) even includes a story of Izanagi-no-Mikoto throwing peaches to drive away the thunder gods when he returned from the underworld.
Furthermore, peaches are considered a fruit that brings eternal youth and longevity. It is said that Xi Wangmu, a celestial maiden worshipped in China since ancient times, possessed peaches that allowed her to live for 3,000 years. Moreover, the "Peach Blossom Spring" depicted in Tao Yuanming's poem "The Peach Blossom Spring" refers to a peaceful and prosperous other world surrounded by peach orchards.
When the peach blossoms open, the air becomes enveloped in a gentle, pink hue.
It's that time of year again when, tempted by the warm spring weather, you can't help but smile at the sight of wildflowers along the roadside as you take a stroll.
