This handmade wooden bowl is signed and dated on the bottom, and the different kinds of wood from which the bowl is made are listed. From the top down, they are sassafrass, mahogany, black walnut, poplar, and red oak. The different colors and grains of the wood really complement each other. 

The bowl measures about 3 5/8" high x 5 1/4" in diameter.
