A renowned and powerful Buddhist monk with profound meditative abilities and strong spiritual insight. He gained acceptance and respect from many contemporary monks, such as Somdej Phra Sangkharaj (Pae) ​​of Wat Suthat Thep Wararam, Luang Pho Thap of Wat Suwannaram, Bangkok Noi, Luang Pu Nak of Wat Huai Chorakhe, and many others.

It is said that Luang Pu Boon had two teachers: Phra Palat Thong and Phra Athikarn Pan, who played a very important role in transmitting various knowledge.

However, information about Luang Pu Boon's learning and methods of making the Bia Kae amulet is not known at all. It is possible that Luang Pu Rod was the teacher who passed on the knowledge of making Bia Kae to Luang Pu Boon, as Luang Pu Rod was not much later in age than Somdej Phra Phutthacharn (To).

Luang Pu Phra Maha Sila Sirichantho, Wat Phra That Muen Hin

Luang Pu Phra Maha Sila studied Vipassana meditation and Lao Dhamma script. He could read books from Isan palm leaf manuscripts fluently and studied many palm leaf scriptures of the Somdej Lun lineage from Laos until he mastered them. Luang Pu Phra Maha Sila secluded himself in many places, including several abandoned cemeteries. Eventually, the abbot of Wat Pho Si Sa-at, who held him in high esteem, invited him to reside at the temple. Luang Pu Sila, however, wished to seclude himself in the monastic garden of Ban Kae Pae. His disciples then jointly built a kuti (monk's dwelling) for him, where he remained throughout his life. Luang Pu participated in almost every religious ceremony, as his disciples had witnessed firsthand his spiritual powers, virtuous conduct, compassion, contentment, and extraordinary clairvoyance—his ability to foresee future events with astonishing accuracy.
