Circa 1800, A Italian linen tablecloth with fine Reticella lace. The lace design seems earlier but during the 19THC. there were lace schools in Italy that used early 17-18THC. designs. The quality of the lace is excellent. I am wondering if the region might be Abruzzi..but I am not sure. This item came from a early lace collection. Measuring approx. 42" by 38". This item almost seems unused.. and is in very good strong condiion, there are a few age spots..but I consider minor.The cloth just needs to be laundered.
