Welcome to my auction - Up for your consideration is this rare pair of Ikebana, the art of flower arrangement, workshop booklets from the 14th Australia and New Zealand Ikebana International Conference held in April, 1983. Two of the guest demonstrators at the conference were Isshin Mori II, Headmaster of the Enshu School of Ikebana, and his wife, Saigetsu Yamamoto, Headmistress of the Kofu School of Ikebana. The booklets accompanied the demonstration they performed and were provided to attendees. The booklet covers are heavy stock blue and light brown paper each bound with gold thread cord. The Enshu book has a small note explaining Mr. Mori's sketches, Kofu has 5 different colors of paper and come in the original gold gilt, dark brown folder shown. The Kofu School booklet is in both Japanese and English, both provide illustrations.

CONDITION - The booklets are in fine, vintage, pre-owned condition! Original estate found condition showing minimal age/use wear, both are clean, no marks, fading, rips or tears, light foxing mostly around edges, a little rough on corners and edges. Please see photos as part of description and condition.

SIZE - Each measures approximately 11 1/2" tall, 8 1/4" Kofu has 28 pages, Enshu has 22.
