An interesting and unusual sword that was found at an estate sale in Philadelphia, MS. It is in dug condition with heavy rust and patina. Blade is very thick and heavy, measuring 1/4” thick at the spine. Overall length is 42”. We’ve showed this one to many experts and nobody has been able to identify it yet. No markings are visible. All parts are still sturdily attached. Blade has some nicks and dings, and the tip has had some loss due to deterioration. See pics for more detail.
