the original ticket for the chicane area of the race, located right after the tunnel and along part of the dock area.  It also includes original photos taken within that area, including the after race recovery of Hawkins' car which had broken through a barrier ( hay bales ) right in front of where I was seated. I recently discovered several packages of slides which I had stored after my return from a tour with the US Army in the Hanau area of Germany. I drove to Lahr to meet up with my uncle and his friend and we travelled on in his VW van to Monte Carlo, arriving there on Friday night.  We camped in a parking lot within site of the casino . We were able to watch the Formular 3 race on Saturday by walking freely around the city streets used for the race. Watched the Formular 1 on Sunday, returning to home base on Monday.  I made these prints from very old slides in storage and the colors aren't perfect and at least one shows a blurry image of a race car. Other photos show where we camped next to the VW van, two cars entering the chicane area, and the DAF entry ( No. 84)  to the Formular 3 race possibly with  Rob Slotemaker, the driver, in the background.
