Intel Compute [PC] Stick (BOX) STK1AW32SC with Windows 10
I’m sure you know what you’re looking at if you’ve ‘clicked through’ this far but I’ve provided the following summary, from uk.pcmag.com, for general reference :
The Intel Compute Stick is a full Windows PC that fits in the palm of your hand and can be used with any HDMI-equipped display. It's $150, easy to set up, and is the most portable computer you can buy.
(Price and statement correct at the time of the article)
The same article lists the following Pros :
• A full Windows PC for $150.
• As small and light as a candy bar.
• Plugs directly into an HDMI port in a monitor or HDTV.
• Can add storage via microSD.
• Has 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
And, in the balance of fairness, the following Cons :
• Just 19GB of storage available.
• Only one USB port.
• Incompatible with some USB 3.0 hard drives.
• Need a USB mouse to initially set up Bluetooth devices.
• Requires included HDMI extension cable in tight quarters.
The spec. sheet is shown in the last photograph, and if you require any further information then I’ll perhaps leave it with you to search for the item in google (other search engines are available).
I bought this (used) during lockdown with the intention of plugging it into the TV for the statutory zoom quizzes and general catch-ups. We ended up huddling round my [home] office PC, however, so it’s only been taken out of the box for the purposes of taking the listing photographs.
Whilst it was reset and patched up to date before I bought it, it might need updating prior to use.
If you have any queries then please don’t hesitate to contact me. Otherwise, many thanks for looking and please feel free to take a look at my other listings if you get a moment to do so.
SELLER’S NOTES:
The last two photos are stock images, with credit to uk.shi.com & bhphotovideo.com, and are purely for reference;
Please don’t hesitate to make an offer if you’re minded to do so – the worst that can happen is that I choose to decline it;
Finally, please excuse what you might perceive to be high postage costs as standard – eBay seemingly control postage costs for the majority of listings now, both domestically and for overseas delivery (through the global shipping program) so the pricing might be taken out of my hands.
