ORIGINAL ANTIQUE WWI OMEGA TRANSITION/TRENCH WRIST WATCH, SCREW ON BEZEL & CABRIOLET MOVEMENT, CAL 26.1; CIRCA 1917
DIAL: Original beautiful white color enamel (porcelain) dial with black color hollow robust arabig numbers. Dial is signed OMEGA at twelve. Subseconds dial placed at six. Black color enameled hands.
CASE: original fine silver case, showing official hallmarks for Swiss fine silver 0.935. Case is fully signed and numbered by OMEGA WATCH Co. Screwed-on bezel which can be easily unscrewed for removal. It can also be screwed back on easily, but due to wear on the threads, it doesn't close completely. Despite this, the watch remains securely closed, meaning the bezel won't fall off.
Fixed spring lugs. Please, refer to the pictures.
MOVEMENT: original mechanical with manual winding movement, OMEGA caliber 26.1PLEASE, NOTE: This watch have a specific rarity consisting on its movement being attached to the case through a hinge. This feature has a french name called "cabriolet".
WORKING ORDER: the watch is in runnig condition but goes late we cannot guarantee its punctuality
MEASURES: 33mm diameter not including its winding crown, 36mm WIDE including its winding crown.
AGE: 1917-1918
BRACELET/STRAP: 12mm dark brown color vintage leather strap with silver tone buckle.
