1972 Topps Baseball COMPLETE SET (1–787) – HIGH NUMBERS COMPLETE – POOR CONDITION

This is a complete 1972 Topps baseball set, including all 787 cards. The set includes the full high-number series (657–787), which is often missing from incomplete sets.

Please read the condition description carefully, as condition varies significantly throughout the set.

CONDITION OVERVIEW:

This is a POOR to FAIR condition set overall. Many cards throughout the set have heavy wear including creases (some full/bicycle spoke creases), rounded corners, surface wear, and occasional writing. This is not a high-grade set and is being sold as a low-grade, collector/filler set.

STAR CARDS:

The top approximately 15 star cards have been removed from the binder and photographed individually so you can clearly evaluate their condition.

Examples of condition issues on key cards:

• Nolan Ryan – visible crease and surface staining (appears like liquid staining)

• Pete Rose – multiple creases

• Carl Yastrzemski – significant crease

• Harmon Killebrew – heavy wear and surface issues

• Bob Gibson – crease and writing on the card

• Carlton Fisk rookie – poor corner wear and overall condition

• Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente cards – worn with visible condition issues

• Reggie Jackson – moderate wear but not as severe as others

These cards are included, but most star cards are in low grade condition.

HIGH NUMBER SERIES (657–787):

All high-number cards are included and have been photographed in the binder pages.

As a group, the high numbers are generally in better condition than the earlier series, but they still show wear. Expect a mix of VG to POOR condition with some creases present.

Notable issue:

• #785 Vic Davalillo – heavy writing and very poor condition

CHECKLISTS:

• Early checklists are marked/written on

• Later checklists are clean
