Approx: 1 1/2" weighing 1.5 ounces. Total weight.

A Bit of History:
These items are
frequently identified by collectors as "Mid-Century" or
"1960s-70s" vintage pieces often featuring natural patina from
age.
Many high-quality
vintage brass miniatures were handmade in Holland during the 1960s, including
items like watering cans, storage kegs & tea pots.
Sets often feature
miniature pots, kettles, pans, colanders & fireplace buckers suitable for
1:12 and 1:6 scales.
Often called "red
brass" or solid brass, these pieces may show a natural patina or be highly
polished.
Items are highly sought
after by collectors specializing in midcentury dollhouse furniture.
Copper is a
"living" metal that reacts to its environment.
In miniature cookware,
this means the copper reacts with oxygen and humidity to form a protective
outer skin.
A dark, dull, or even
green patina often develops on miniature pots in humid environments which many
collectors prefer to leave untouched, believing it adds to the
"old-world" charm.
Patina & tarnish are
both surface changes caused by oxidation but they differ primarily in
desirability & appearance.
Patina is generally
considered a desirable protective layer (like green on bronze) that adds
character and value.
