Headline: Original 1966 Cadaco "Bas-Ket" Mechanical Tabletop Game - Model No. 165 Manufacturer: Cadaco, Inc., Chicago IL Year: 1966 (Copyright 1966 printed on interior instructions)
Overview: Own a piece of 1960s nostalgia! This is the classic 1966 edition of Bas-Ket, the "Real Basketball in Miniature" game. Using a series of spring-loaded steel levers beneath the court, players launch the ball toward the hoops. It’s a fast-action mechanical game that remains just as fun today as it was 60 years ago.
Condition Details:
Mechanicals: All internal steel shooting mechanisms are tested and working great.
Court Graphics: The "hardwood" style court graphics are bright and clean with very little wear (see photos).
Components: Includes both backboards with original white plastic nets and two game ball. The "Home" and "Visitors" scoring discs on the backboards rotate properly.
Box/Packaging: The outer box shows significant vintage "shelf wear," including split corners and heavy clear tape repairs on the lid. However, the graphics are still vibrant, and the box remains structurally capable of holding the game for play.
Instructions: The full rules and assembly directions are printed clearly on the inside of the box lid.
