This is a hand-cast solid metal budded hanging cross. It measures 9.5" long by 5.5" across. This crucifix is quite old and has developed a nice patina over time.

Features a 3D relief of Christ fixed to the cross with a decorative budded element and traditional imagery at each point which is typical of orthodox crosses. The front is quite detailed (see photos) and catches light beautifully. Due to its metallic nature, the cross has a good bit of heft to it, weighing in at over 10oz by itself.

The back of this piece is mostly flat and featureless, though you can see the hand-rasped edges from when this item was originally cast by the artisan. It features an integrated hang loop near the top and looks quite lovely when displayed on a wall, table, or decorative stand.

This cross comes in its original cardboard box with a slip of cushioned foam inside; the box itself has mild storage wear but is otherwise fine.
