A premium carbon-wrapped road stem from BBB Cycling. The RoadDrive UD uses 7050 T7 aluminium - a higher grade alloy than the more common 6061 found on most stems - wrapped in UD (Uni-Directional) carbon for a clean, smooth finish without a visible weave pattern. UD carbon gives a sleek matte appearance that suits modern road builds well. The 3D forged one-piece construction and CNC-finished stainless steel bolts reflect the quality level this stem was designed for.
What is UD Carbon? UD (Uni-Directional) carbon has all fibres running in the same direction, giving a smooth, clean finish with no crosshatch weave visible. It differs from the 3K weave pattern seen on many carbon-wrapped parts - UD looks more subtle and refined.
