Y-ACC 36" interface cable for connecting selected Yaesu radios to LDG general-purpose antenna tuners.
Does not supply DC power to the tuner.
Plugs between the ALC/REM or ACC stereo jack on the radio and the Radio Interface port on the LDG tuner.

FT-857(D), FT-897(D), FT-100, FT-100(D), FT-991(A), FT-891
Functionality
Connect the red end to the radio and the black end to the tuner.
Pressing the Tune button on the tuner will switch the radio to CW mode (mode change may not show on some radio displays), perform tuning, then revert the radio to its previous operating mode.
RF power is automatically reduced during tuning. No manual adjustment of RF power settings is required before or after tuning.
Menu Settings
For FT-991(A): Set Menu 143 Tuner Select to LAMP (for Linear Amplifier)
For FT-891: Set Menu 16-15 Tuner Select to LAMP
Both radios use the ALC/REM jack (connect the red end of the Y-ACC cable to the radio).
