Please note our specimens may vary ever so slightly in color, shape, size and patterns. These sustainably sourced and ethically raised real insects come from nature where no two are ever exactly the same.

All of the real butterflies and insects that we use are ethically sourced from farms, aviaries and co-ops around the world. This provides a real source of income for people who might otherwise have to use their precious natural land for agriculture. Tropical butterflies and insects are important members of these fragile ecosystems. If their natural habitats are allowed to be destroyed or disappear, then they too will vanish forever. Everything possible must be done to preserve them.

We only use 99% UV blocking Museum Glass when we build our displays so your butterflies and insects won’t fade over time. Each display is double Sealed for years of added protection (both the glass face as well as a protective seal over the back).
