Description:

Beautiful vintage 1930s–early 1940s cotton fabric, featuring a charming vertical stripe design with florals, hearts, and small birds. A classic depression-era style print with wonderful color and detail.

This is not feed sack, but rather commercial cotton yardage from the same period, with original selvages intact, confirming early manufacture.

Both ends have been hand hemmed, indicating it was repurposed at some point—possibly as a curtain panel.

Measurements:

  • 70" long x 35" wide
  • Original selvages present

Details:

  • Authentic early cotton yardage
  • Pink ground with floral stripe, hearts, and bird motifs
  • Crisp, detailed print typical of the 1930s–40s era

Condition:

  • Hand-hemmed on both ends
  • One 3" x 3" square cut out on one end (shown)
  • One tear present (shown in photos)
  • Some age patina and scattered spots consistent with age
  • Displays beautifully with strong color remaining

A wonderful piece for quilting, cutters, or collection, especially for those who love depression-era textiles with folk-art charm.
