Up for sale is a stunning and highly collectible early wristwatch (Trench Watch) from the prestigious house of H. Moser & Cie. This is a rare oversized model (45mm), which makes it very wearable and desirable by modern standards.
Key Features:
- Dial: Rare original Black Enamel Dial with golden Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at 9 o'clock. The enamel is in beautiful vintage condition with no visible cracks or hairlines.
- Case: Massive 45mm case (excluding crown). Fixed lugs for a leather strap. Original "onion" style crown.
- Movement: Genuine high-grade 15-jewel gilt movement. It is clearly hallmarked with the H. Moser & Cie shield (coat of arms) on the bridge. The balance wheel swings freely and smoothly when blown on.
- Mechanism: This is a nail-set (pin-set) movement. To set the time, you must press the small button near the crown while turning the crown.
