Installation Steps:
1. Open the lid of the secondary kettle.
2. Remove the water pipe, let go of the coolant.
3. Remove the upper pure air pipe.
4. Raise car up. Remove water pump inlet and outlet pipes.
5. Unplug the electric water pump plug. Loosen the fixing screws to remove pump.
6. Install new pump.(Fix screws, plug in pump, install pipes.) Add antifreeze.
Use computer to empty it. Put on the lid of kettle.
Note:
Engine Water Pump
Your vehicles engine water pump is responsible for keeping coolant flowing through the engine. As water pumps get old the internal bearing can go bad causing noise and a coolant leak. A good indicator that your water pump is failing is if you see coolant leaking through the water pump "weep hole".
Engine Water Pump Failure Signals
1. Overheating conditions.
2. Coolant leak through weep hole.
3. Squeaking noise coming from pump at idle.
4. Play at water pump pulley shaft indicating a bad bearing.
5. Low coolant light on instrument cluster indicating a cooling system leak.
