This ACEO is an Original watercolor miniature painting of a Chameleon on a cheeseburger at a picnic, caught in the rain so featuring Water Drops done in Watercolor & Ink on paper 2.5 x 3.5 by Kim Paz
So…I may have gotten a little fixated on water droplets for a week. Then things may have gotten a little weird on social media when people made requests of different things to do with the water drops. Naturally I did all of them.
This was the eighth in the series, in which a follower requested to see what would happen if water drops were on a chameleon was on a cheeseburger … and I thought “how strange…I’m in”. So this was my take and I admit, it was very fun to paint. My favorite part was making the chameleon blend into the bun, and the water drop on the checkered table cloth. I needed to have a reason this bizarre thing would happen. I imagined it was a kids outdoor Barbeque style birthday party in the summer, and the parents hired one of those reptile guys to bring his animals. And everyone is busy looking at snakes and turtles and chameleons when it starts to rain. Kind of plausible right? Anyway. That’s either a tiny chameleon or a giant cheeseburger. I’ll let you decide which.
#8 in what I’m calling “The Drop Drop”. Get it? A drop…of all drops?
