Authentic German Copy of a Giovanni Paolo Maggini Violin 4/4 & Levi’s Case

Authentic Maggini violin, Germany copy, full size (4/4). The interior label has worn away over time and is no longer present there is an M remaining.

The instrument shows age and use consistent with its vintage/antique nature, including wear to the wood and varnish. There is also evidence of prior work around the button and chin rest area. This is an antique and very old violin, It would benefit from evaluation and setup by a qualified luthier to reach its full playing potential.

The construction reflects the classic Maggini pattern, including double purfling and a broader body profile.

Includes:

• Vintage case from Levi’s Music Store (Rochester, NY), a shop that closed in 1930
• Antique bow (included as-is; will require rehairing or replacement)
