Description:
An polymer enhanced, flexible sealant and gap‐filler designed for sealing all tongue and groove laminate
flooring. When cured it can be varnished or wood stained if required. Conforms to BS EN 15651‐1.

Uses
Bond It LAMI-MATE stays permanently flexible and can be used for
sealing all types of laminate and hardwood flooring. It is ideal for
draught proofing around timber flooring to provide an effective
dust and air tight seal. It can also be used for sealing around
timber window and door frames as well as all types of fitted
furniture i.e. bedroom and kitchen fittings, laminate worktops,
etc. LAMI-MATE is also suitable for sealing glass panels into kitchen
unit doors. Suitable for internal and external use.

Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease or any
contaminants that may hinder adhesion.

Application
Apply using a standard sealant gun with
the nozzle cut at an angle of 45°, and to
an opening slightly larger than the joint to
be sealed. Smooth down using a slightly
wetted spatula, piece of wood or SEALANT
APPLICATOR TOOL. Tools and excess sealant
can be cleaned with a damp sponge.
If varnishing or staining allow sealant to cure fully before painting.
Tools can be cleaned in WHITE SPIRIT or Bond It MULTI-WIPES prior
to curing taking place.

Limitations
Do not use in conjunction with bitumen or asphalt. For perimeter
use only, do not use in areas subject to mechanical abrasion. Do
not attempt to sand down.
Caution: The colour on application will be different to the colour
achieved when fully cured.

EU3 plastic cartridge.

Colours
LAMI-MATE comes in 4 colours: teak, pine, dark oak and light oak.

Shelf Life
Minimum 2 years from date of manufacture when stored in
unopened tubes.

Storage Conditions
Store in cool, dry conditions at a temperature between 5-30oC.
Protect from frost.

Disposal of Containers
Do not leave empty containers where residue could be harmful to
children, animals or the environment. Remove any containers to a
central disposal point in accordance with local regulations.
