Multi-size specialized press heads (sockets)*4 Precisely match the dimensions of bushings and ball joints in different locations on the Tesla Model 3/Y to meet installation and removal requirements

Fully Threaded Drive Rod*1 Delivers uniform axial pressure for smooth ejection and insertion, preventing impact damage

Specialized Positioning Nut (with Thrust Bearing)*1 Reduces rotational friction, improves force efficiency, and ensures precise positioning to prevent misalignment

Reinforced ABS Engineering Plastic Storage Case*1 Features categorized slots for easy tool storage, portability, and workshop organization

Core Materials and Craftsmanship

The main structure is made of 40Cr high-carbon steel, forged as a single piece and heat-treated for reinforcement. It features high hardness, excellent impact resistance, and strong resistance to deformation, with a service life far exceeding that of ordinary stamped parts.

The surface undergoes a colored zinc plating process for rust prevention, offering corrosion resistance and protection against rust, making it suitable for the humid working environment of automotive repair shops.

The threaded rod is precision-machined with full-thread engagement, ensuring tight thread locking, even force distribution, and no slippage, thereby guaranteeing operational safety

II. Product Highlights (Core Advantages)

Exclusively Designed for Tesla, with Precise, Deviation-Free Fit

Designed with 1:1 mold matching for the chassis structure and rubber boot dimensions of the Tesla Model 3/Y. The press head curvature and hole diameter perfectly align with OEM components, avoiding the issues of misalignment and damage to aluminum control arms caused by universal tools. It is perfectly suited for core repair scenarios such as rear ball joints and rear lower control arm rubber boots.

Non-Destructive Installation and Removal, Protecting OEM Components

Utilizes a purely mechanical screw drive mechanism to replace traditional hammering and forceful removal methods. It applies uniform axial pressure to the bushings, ensuring no impact or deformation throughout the process. This effectively protects expensive original Tesla components such as aluminum control arms and steering knuckles, reducing repair-related wear and tear.

Simple Operation, Efficient Single-Person Workflow

No additional equipment such as hydraulic pumps or air compressors is required; simply tighten the screw manually to complete the task, making it easy to use. Removing or installing a single rubber boot takes only 15–30 minutes, making it over three times more efficient than traditional methods and significantly boosting repair efficiency.

High-Strength Forged Construction for Long-Lasting Durability

Core components are integrally forged for maximum structural strength, capable of withstanding repeated high-frequency repair operations without cracking or deformation. The rust-proof finish is designed for automotive workshop environments, ensuring long-term use. This tool set offers far better value than expensive OEM tools.

Portable Storage, Designed for Professional Settings

Comes with a reinforced ABS storage case featuring precise tool slots and clear organization, making it easy to store in the workshop or carry for on-site repairs. It meets the needs of various scenarios, including auto repair shops, modification shops, and personal DIY projects.

Other chassis rubber bushing repair work of the same specifications

IV. Procedure (Standard Operating Procedure)

Preparation

Raise the vehicle to a safe height. Use professional tools to remove the target control arm/steering knuckle assembly. Clean oil and rust from around the rubber bushings. After inspecting the parts for cracks or deformation, prepare the corresponding-sized press heads.

Installation of Supports and Alignment

Snap the C-shaped support bracket into the load-bearing position of the control arm/steering knuckle, ensuring the bracket fits snugly and the load is distributed evenly; Place specialized press heads of matching dimensions on both sides of the rubber boot, aligning them with the center of the boot to prevent eccentricity.

Installing the Lead Screw and Applying Pressure

Insert a high-strength lead screw and thread in the specialized positioning nut. Slowly tighten the nut by hand to apply even pressure to the rubber boot via the lead screw, gently pushing out the old rubber boot. Monitor the condition of the press heads and the workpiece throughout the process to avoid applying excessive force.

Cleaning and New Part Installation

After the old rubber boot has been fully pushed out, clean the control arm mounting hole. Apply specialized grease to the surface of the new rubber boot. Reinstall the press head and threaded rod in the reverse order, slowly tighten the threaded rod to smoothly press the new rubber boot into place, aligning it with the original factory positioning marks.

Reinstallation and Inspection

Remove the tool, reinstall the control arm/steering knuckle assembly, and tighten the bolts to Tesla’s original factory torque specifications. After completion, perform a four-wheel alignment on the vehicle to ensure chassis parameters meet factory standards, and conduct a road test to verify there are no abnormal noises.

V. Precautions

Safety Operating Procedures

Before beginning work, ensure the vehicle is securely lifted and properly supported; operating the vehicle while it is unsecured is strictly prohibited. Apply pressure to the threaded rod slowly and evenly; never use electric wrenches or impact wrenches to forcefully impact the rod, as this may cause the rod to break or the workpiece to fly off and injure personnel.

Tool Usage Restrictions

This tool is designed exclusively for the Tesla Model 3/Y. Do not use it on other vehicle models or for repairs on other parts of the vehicle; do not use the tool to pry or strike the workpiece, as this may cause deformation or damage to the press head or bracket.

Workpiece Protection Requirements

Throughout the disassembly and assembly process, closely monitor the condition of the control arm and steering knuckle. If any sticking or unusual noises occur, stop work immediately and check whether the press head is properly matched or if the positioning is off-center. Avoid applying excessive force, which may cause the aluminum workpiece to crack or become unusable.

Maintenance and Care

After each use, clean oil and debris from the tool’s surface, apply anti-rust grease to the lead screw threads, and store the tool in a dry environment; Regularly inspect the wear on the lead screw, press head, and bracket. If deformation or cracks are found, stop using the tool immediately and replace the corresponding parts.

Professional Operation Recommendations

For individual vehicle owners without repair experience, it is recommended to operate under the guidance of a professional automotive technician. After replacing the rubber bushings, a four-wheel alignment must be performed to prevent abnormal tire wear or steering drift caused by incorrect chassis parameters.
