Vintage Thingmaker Creepy Crawlers in Box w 8 Plates

 This is a vintage THINGMAKER Creepy Crawlers by Mattel.  It needs to be cleaned up and when I plugged it in, it did not heat up.  I've don't know whether or that can be fixed but currently it is not working.  The styrofoam is melted in spots.  I remember playing with these when I was a kid - always so much fun.
