Lydia is the positive spirit of a child who passed at 6 during the Victorian era in America. She lived in a poor family with five other siblings. Her mother struggled to put food on the table and feed all the mouths. Lydia was the youngest child and would constantly be picked on and teased because her siblings claimed she was her mother’s favorite and was spoiled a little. They would be mean to her, taunt and pull her hair. One day, it escalated and one of her brothers took her life. Her mother, knowing how much Lydia enjoyed being by the river, released her body into the river in a final goodbye. Her father was a sailor who was away at work at the time of her death. Lydia enjoyed prayer time with her mother, they would sing hymns together (she especially loved singing), read together, and cry together missing her father. Lydia was big on pinky promises and liked the concept of “forever”- everything seemed eternal at her age, like she thought her family would be around forever. Her favorite toy was a porcelain doll named Lucy. Lydia resembled her vessel except she had brown eyes. She had a quiet personality but was very friendly, bright, and curious. She has gotten along with my other spirits quite well but is ready for her new home.
Her vessel is a 16” porcelain doll with a stand. All of my haunted dolls come with a couple offerings.
She has demonstrated communication via emf meter, bullet light, pendulum, and spirit talkers. If you are drawn to her, she might be for you! I believe that spirits can choose their keepers. Paranormal activity is not guaranteed. Spirits may take some time to come around and be open to communication. Please be patient and do not try to force results. As per policies, I must state that this doll is for entertainment purposes only.
